Week 309: Session 0

A week of being back in the city, a short D&D session, trickery, meeting new people, D&D prep, housewarmings, jägerbombs, dinners, and an early night.

We’re back in London, it’s warm down here! Hello again city. The flat is too small / too full of stuff, I want to prioritise moving the spare furniture up north.
Lots of D&D this week! On Tuesday I ran a shorter session with my group because there were only three players and I didn’t want them to get too far ahead without the whole group. I enjoyed a bit of trickery.
On Thursday I headed over to Luke’s, he’s starting a campaign that I get to be a player in and was running a Session 0. It was a chance to meet the other players (all very nice) and work out how we want to play / what our requirements are. It was a fun evening and I’m excited to start! I’ve respecced my character so many times already.
On Saturday we attended a housewarming at Arjun’s, a very long time after he moved in. It was great fun, we had a walk around the area and a few too many jägerbombs. We got home at 2ish.
After dragging ourselves out of bed quite late in the day on Sunday, we caught up with Alison on Sunday who’s back from a trip. Small local dinner and an early night. Good night.
