Week 304: Linus
Linus was in town this week so I met up with him and a few other friends on Tuesday near our old office in Holborn. It was a lovely evening if a little boozy for a Tuesday, some things don’t really change much over 15 years when you distill it down. Found out Karol still lives in Wapping so we’re gonna meet up again soon.
On Saturday we went and had a very wholesome time with Charlotte’s grandparents. Lots of chatter, measuring a large chest they want to give Charlotte, and a great lunch.
In the evening we went out to support a local venue that’s closing down with our Whitechapel friends. I love it around here.
On Sunday Luke was running his first ever D&D session as a Dungeon Master and he nailed it! He’s been worldbuilding for a while and it was lovely to get a little taste of his creativity. We met some new people, the session went smoothly, and it was fun. I absolutely loved getting to be a player again.
I finished the third Mistborn book in no time at all, wonderful, and gonna have a small break from Sanderson. I picked up Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow for a change of pace and have nearly finished. It’s charming and sad.
